I am a University of Memphis graduate and former athlete(football). When I saw the online advertisement in a BOGO offer, I couldn't resist. I placed my order and eagerly awaited its shipment. I received email notification with a picture of the U of M ring, stating that my rings had shipped. When the order arrived at my home, to say that I was disappointed, would be an understatement. What I received was not what I ordered. I received a very small sized generic football ring. It is too small to even serve as a decent pinky ring. I realize mistakes happen. Included in the shipment was a business card from Scott Tischler, President and Founder of GAMEDAY GLOBAL. On the backside of the card was a hand-written note that read: "Thanks for your business" It was signed by Scott. Seeing this, I was somewhat put at ease. I thought I'd call Scott personally and let him kniw what happened with my order. When I called, I did not get Scott. The person I got on the phone answered with "Hello". Not what I was expecting. Most businesses answer the phone in a manner that identifies themselves as such. The person I spoke with told me that he was partners with Scott and he wasn't sure why Scott's calls were ringing to his phone. I explained my situation to him. He tells me that they are a licensed carrier of University of Memphis gear, but they had not yet received their shipment of U of M rings. This seemed quite odd considering I received an email notification with photo stating that my rings had shipped. The individual I spoke with assured me that he could take care of the problem and he also assured me he would call me the next day in order to do just this. I received no such phone call. So, today I am submitting this review. I held off on reviewing GAMEDAY GLOBAL, because I wanted to give them the opportunity to make things right. If a company cannot stand by their word, then how can they in good faith conduct business. I will be pursuing measures to be refunded the full amount that I paid to GAMEDAY GLOBAL.
